From This Knot — A New Version of Dante's Commedia With the Poet K. A trifold broadside, hand-set in Bembo type and letterpress printed in red and black. 75 copies, each signed by the poet.
The collaboration between the poet Kimberly Campanello, Professor K.P. Clarke, and Mischiefe Press grew from many conversations between Kimberly and Kenneth about Dante and Kimberly's versioning of the Commedia. Kenneth, working on a lexicon of Dante, was challenged to give Kimberly a word to use as the seed for one of her next cantos, which are bound in place and time.
The Mischiefe Press first edition was commissioned for Dante Day at the University of York on March 25, 2026. Seventy-five copies were printed, twenty-five of which are on Italian Fabriano Tiepolo paper. Designed as a container for the text that evokes medieval manuscript commentary traditions, the trifold broadside is a rustic print fastened with brass eyelets and twine.
It includes Kimberly's complete Purgatorio 10 with Argomento, Canto, and Commentario, as well as a note from Professor Clarke explaining the origins and unique aptness of Dante's coinage of 'disviticchiare'. Every copy is signed by Kimberly Campanello.
